ProductSnap is designed to help Etsy sellers and other users perform product and market research. To provide its core functionality, the extension processes the following types of information:
- Captured Website Content: When you activate ProductSnap on a supported Etsy page, the extension extracts publicly available product information for product research purposes. This may include product names, prices, original prices, discounts, ratings, review counts, shop names, product URLs, and other publicly available listing information.
- Web Browsing Activity: ProductSnap does not monitor or record general web browsing activity. The extension interacts with Etsy pages only when the user activates a ProductSnap feature that requires access to an Etsy page.
- Automatic Page Navigation: When the user explicitly starts the Extract All feature, ProductSnap may automatically navigate through successive Etsy result pages in order to collect publicly available listing information requested by the user. This activity is limited to the Extract All functionality and does not constitute general monitoring of the user's browsing activity.
2. Data Handling and Storage
We prioritize your data security and aim to keep research information under your control.

Local Processing:
Product data extracted by ProductSnap is processed and
stored locally on your device using browser storage,
including
chrome.storage.local. - No Remote Transmission of Scraped Product Data: ProductSnap does not transmit scraped Etsy product data to Lanorium's servers and does not sell, rent, or share that scraped product data with external parties.
- CSV Export: When you choose to download your research data, ProductSnap generates the CSV file locally on your device. You control whether and where the exported file is stored or shared.
3. Single Purpose and Limited Use
ProductSnap has a single purpose: to provide product research and market research tools for Etsy sellers and other users conducting product research.
ProductSnap only collects, processes, and uses information that is necessary to provide its disclosed product research functionality.
ProductSnap does not use collected information for advertising, personalized advertising, profiling, credit assessment, or any other unrelated purpose.
ProductSnap does not sell, rent, or transfer scraped Etsy product data to third parties for purposes unrelated to providing or improving the ProductSnap product research functionality.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Single Purpose and Limited Use
ProductSnap has a single purpose: to provide product research and market research tools for Etsy sellers and other users conducting product research.
ProductSnap only processes information that is necessary to provide this product research functionality.
Scraped or automatically gathered Etsy listing information is used only to provide the product research features requested by the user.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer scraped product data to third parties for advertising, data brokerage, or other unrelated purposes.
5. PRO License and Purchase Information
ProductSnap offers optional PRO features that require a license. When you purchase ProductSnap PRO, certain transaction and license-related information may be processed to complete the purchase, generate your license, and activate PRO features.
Payment processing is handled through our payment provider, Paddle. Payment information is processed according to the payment provider's own privacy policy and applicable terms.
ProductSnap does not store your full payment card details. License-related information may be used to verify purchases and activate the PRO features associated with your license.
6. Data Security and Protection
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by ProductSnap. Product research data extracted by the extension is designed to remain locally stored on your device rather than being transmitted to external servers.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device, browser profile, exported files, and any license information associated with your ProductSnap purchase.
7. Your Choices and Control
ProductSnap gives you control over the product research data created through the extension.
You may delete locally stored ProductSnap research data using the available controls within the extension or by managing the browser data associated with the extension.
You may also choose whether to export your collected research data as a CSV file.
Extract All is an optional feature and is initiated by the user. ProductSnap does not automatically begin extracting Etsy pages without a user action that starts the feature.
8. Third-Party Services
ProductSnap may rely on third-party services where necessary to provide specific business functions, such as payment processing and license-related services.
Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. ProductSnap does not control how independent third-party services process information under their respective policies.
Scraped Etsy product research data is not transmitted to third-party services for advertising, data brokerage, or unrelated purposes.
9. Your Consent
By installing and using ProductSnap, you acknowledge that ProductSnap processes information as described in this Privacy Policy for the purpose of providing its disclosed product research functionality.
Where applicable, ProductSnap obtains user action before performing features that require access to supported Etsy page content.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to ProductSnap, our services, or applicable requirements.
