We want customers to have a clear and straightforward understanding of how refunds are handled for Lanorium products.
Payments for Lanorium products are processed through Paddle. Refund requests are therefore subject to Paddle's applicable Refund Policy, Buyer Terms, and mandatory consumer protection laws.
Lanorium provides digital products that may be delivered, downloaded, activated, or made available immediately after payment.
Where applicable law permits a consumer to waive a statutory withdrawal right for digital content, the checkout process may require the buyer to expressly consent to immediate delivery or access and acknowledge the resulting loss of that withdrawal right.
For example, under Paddle's current policy, consumers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, and United Kingdom may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right for certain digital content and services. This right does not apply to digital content that has started to be downloaded, streamed, or otherwise used where the buyer has given express consent to waive the applicable withdrawal rights.
This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived, including rights relating to products that are faulty, materially defective, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
1. How to Request a Refund
If you would like to request a refund, please contact Paddle through its buyer support service or use the transaction management link provided in your Paddle confirmation email.
Paddle will review the transaction and determine whether the request is eligible under its applicable Refund Policy, Buyer Terms, and applicable law.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the applicable Paddle Refund Policy, applicable consumer protection laws, and the circumstances of the transaction.
Paddle may consider factors such as the reason for the request, the nature of the product, whether the product has been accessed or used, and whether there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.
A refund request submitted within a particular period does not automatically guarantee a refund unless a statutory or other applicable right to a refund exists.
Paddle may also issue discretionary refunds on a case-by-case basis in accordance with its applicable Refund Policy.
3. Digital Products and Immediate Access
Lanorium products are digital products and may be delivered immediately after a successful transaction.
For certain customers and jurisdictions, applicable law may provide a statutory withdrawal period for digital content. Where permitted, that right may cease once the digital product has been downloaded, streamed, accessed, used, or otherwise made available following the buyer's express consent to immediate performance and acknowledgement of the loss of the applicable withdrawal right.
The applicable rules may vary depending on the buyer's country, product type, and circumstances. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights.
4. Technical Problems and Product Defects
If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing or using a Lanorium product as described, please contact our support team so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
Where the issue is caused by a material technical defect or persistent problem within the Lanorium product or service, we will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve it.
If a material technical or product defect cannot reasonably be resolved, any refund will be handled in accordance with Paddle's applicable Refund Policy and mandatory consumer protection laws.
Paddle's current Refund Policy states that where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect that prevents a customer from accessing the features or benefits as described, Paddle may issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Third-Party Services and Platform Changes
Some Lanorium products may depend on third-party websites, platforms, APIs, services, technical interfaces, or other external systems.
Changes made by a third-party platform may affect the compatibility, availability, or functionality of a Lanorium product.
Examples may include changes to a third-party website's structure, HTML or DOM, API, authentication system, access restrictions, rate limits, anti-bot mechanisms, or other technical requirements.
Lanorium does not guarantee that a product will remain compatible with third-party systems that are modified after the product has been purchased.
Where reasonably possible, Lanorium may investigate and consider compatibility updates. However, third-party changes do not automatically constitute a defect in the Lanorium product.
Nothing in this section limits any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Support and Reasonable Resolution
Before requesting a refund for a technical issue, customers are encouraged to contact Lanorium support and provide enough information for the issue to be investigated.
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate reported technical problems and, where possible, provide troubleshooting, configuration assistance, or a corrective update.
Where a material technical problem remains unresolved and a refund is available under Paddle's policy or applicable law, the refund will be handled through Paddle.
7. Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same product more than once, please contact Lanorium or Paddle as soon as possible.
Duplicate transactions may be reviewed and, where applicable, refunded through Paddle.
8. Refund Processing
When a refund is approved, Paddle generally processes the refund using the original payment method where possible.
Paddle's current policy states that eligible refunds are generally processed using the same payment method where possible and within 14 days of approval.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on the payment method and financial institution.
9. Effect of a Refund
If a refund is issued for a Lanorium product, access to the refunded product, license, account, download, or activation credentials may be terminated or disabled.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you experience a problem with a transaction, we encourage you to contact Lanorium support or Paddle before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, access to the relevant product may be temporarily suspended while the transaction is reviewed, where permitted by applicable rules.
This does not affect any lawful rights you may have to dispute a transaction under applicable payment or consumer protection rules.
11. Paddle Refund Policy
Paddle's Refund Policy contains additional information about statutory withdrawal rights, digital content, technical defects, discretionary refunds, and the refund request process.
12. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or waived under applicable law.
Where applicable law provides a consumer with greater protection than this policy, the applicable mandatory legal protection will prevail.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy when our products, payment arrangements, third-party dependencies, or legal requirements change.
The updated version will be published on this page together with a revised "Last updated" date.
